Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry program at First Baptist Waynesville welcomes all youth (6th – 12th grade) to join the spiritual journey of growing their faith in Christ Jesus. Faith formation, discipleship, and mission opportunities are woven into classes offered on Wednesday evening and Sunday, as well as various community and mission projects intermingled through the year. Youth and their families take part in opportunities to strengthen their bonds of fellowship; enrich their spiritual growth; and enhance their understanding of how faith and life work as one.

6th – 12th Graders
6th – 12th graders rehearse on Sundays at 4:30 pm in the Choir Room. This choir sings a variety of music and leads in Sunday morning worship services and presents seasonal programs throughout the year. Their rehearsal schedule follows the school calendar. During the summer the Youth Choir travels on mission tours and participates in choir festivals. No music skills are required and you do not have to be a member of our church.
