Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Choir Room (Level 1 of the Education Building) The Sanctuary Choir is our primary choir for the 10 a.m. worship service each week. We sing a variety of music and provide seasonal programs throughout the year. No audition is required. If you can sing a hymn tune, you can sing in our choir. Childcare is provided free of charge.
Sundays 5:45 p.m. in the Handbell Room (Level 1 of the Education Building near the Choir Room) This is a musical ensemble dedicated to the ringing of English Handbells. Music reading skills are a plus. However, if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you. The choir leads in Sunday morning worship occasionally and presents seasonal programs as well. Participation is open to anyone.
The Worship Band leads in 10:00 a.m. worship service. You need experience to participate in this group and membership is limited. Contact Mitch Huskison 828-456-9465, ext. 107 or email him (email@example.com) for more information
Sundays at 4:30 p.m. in the Choir Room. This choir sings a variety of music and leads in Sunday morning worship services and presents seasonal programs throughout the year. Their rehearsal schedule follows the school calendar. During the summer the Youth Choir travels on mission tours and participates in choir festivals. No music skills are required and you do not have to be a member of our church
Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. in the Choir Room. This choir provides programs of gospel songs and hymns to our area senior care facilities. They lead in Sunday worship on occasions and provide seasonal programs throughout the year. The schedule varies depending on where the group sings during the week. You will be given a schedule for your convenience, but you can also call the church office at 828-456-9465 for any additional information. Membership is open to anyone who loves to sing. The group also usually goes to lunch together after singing.
An afterschool music and arts program for kindergarten-4th grade. Wednesdays from 3:30 -5:30 p.m., September – November/January – April. Transportation is provided from Junaluska, Hazelwood, and Clyde Elementary Schools. Activities include: Age appropriate choirs, Bible Story, snack, game time, small learning groups, art, music, chess,.. This ministry is open to all elementary grade children in Haywood County.
An afterschool music and arts program for 5th and 6th grades. Wednesdays from 3:30 -5:30 p.m., September –November/ January – April. Transportation is provided from Junaluska, Hazelwood, and Clyde Elementary Schools. Activities include: choir, Bible Story, snack, game time, small learning groups, art, music, beginner guitar. Students in 6th grade must provide their own transportation. This ministry is open to all 5th and 6th grade students in Haywood County.
