The Children’s Ministry program at First Baptist Church Waynesville considers faith formation of all ages to be of utmost importance. We are passionate about educating children about God’s love, enriching their spiritual development, and guiding families’ understanding and practice of faith and life working together as one.
Sundays
On Sunday mornings, we offer age appropriate classes taught by dedicated persons of faith. Children interact with their teachers and learn Bible stories with their peers though interactive play. It is in this classroom setting that children, birth through fifth grade, begin to explore the concepts of faith and what following Jesus Christ means in their lives.
10:00am – Nursery is available for 10:00 a.m. Worship Service (Birth – K). The nursery is located on the 2nd floor of the Education Building.
11:15am – KidConnect Sunday School (Birth – K). Birth through Pre-K classes are located on 2nd floor of the Education Building.
11:15am — Children’s Sunday school classes (K – 5th grade). These classes are located on 3rd floor at Discovery Station in the Education Building.
